Pursuing the versatile dog is a great challenge and Silver Rain is working hard toward "versatile" perfection. Breeding healthy dogs with good temperament, the ability to hunt and the beauty to excel in the conformation ring is my goal.
I was fortunate to start with a dog of exemplary pedigree.
Long Run's Magical Evening "Gunnar" comes from a long line of Champion BROM dogs reaching all the way back to the first champions in the United States and beyond to the native land of Germany. Generously supported by Gunnars' breeders Tim & Becky Yoxthiemer, I started out with the best and strive to match their successes.
Located on 9 acres in Hillsboro, Oregon, Silver Rain Weimaraners began in 1995 with my very first puppy "Gunnar". I invite you to visit my site and share in the thrill of being a gray ghost enthusiast, the proud moments of show wins and hunting accomplishments along with the fun and corny experiences of being owned by one of the worlds most talented and funny dogs.
I share my love of this breed with many families who have purchased my puppies and the kind and generous people who have adopted rescue dogs through me.
